Congratulations are in order for the men and women of team Canada who just just won gold at the 2013 World Mixed Doubles and World Senior Championships. On Sunday afternoon in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The Canadian women's team defeated Austria 13-1 in seven ends and the Canadian men's team defeated New Zealand 6-4.
The Canadian women's team which included skip Cathy King, third Carolyn Morris, second Lesley McEwan, lead Doreen Gares, alternate Christine Jurgenson and coach Bill Tschirhart.
The Canadian men's team which included skip Robert Armitage, third Keith Glover, second Randy Ponich, lead Wilf Edgar, supported by alternate Lyle Treiber and coach Bill Tschirhart.
